CHOCOLATE CHESS PIE


Chocolate Chess Pie

1-1/2 cups of granulated sugar
3 tablespoons of cocoa powder (like Hersheys)
1 (5 ounce) can of evaporated milk
1/4 cup (1/2 a stick) of butter, melted & cooled
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs, beaten
1 unbaked pie shell, homemade or Pillsbury recommended

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and cocoa. Stir in the milk, butter, vanilla and eggs. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes, or until set. Let cool completely before slicing.

*Use a 9-inch pie plate
