MAKERS MARK. READ PUDDING II

Makers Mark Bread Pudding
8 Servings

INGREDIENTS
12 slices white bread ; soaked in 1 qt milk
6 eggs
1/4 cup raisins ; soaked in 1/3 cup Makers Mark
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons Vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
Optional Sauce:
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 egg
1/8 cup Makers Mark
deep disposable lasagna pan with deep lid

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat 350.
Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. Melt butter in dish. Pour melted butter in bottom of baking dish and spread evenly. Lay bread on top of butter. Pour egg mixture over bread. Add raisins with Makers. Bake for 1 hour at 350.
Optional Sauce:
Cook butter, sugar and water for 5 mins on medium heat in sauce pan. Beat egg in separate bowl. Slowly pour sugar mixture over egg. Add Makers. Pour over each serving of bread pudding.
