MEATLOAF II

Meatloaf II

READY IN: 1 hr 30 mins
SERVES: 8-10
YIELDS: 1 loaf
INGREDIENTS
2 1⁄2 lbs ground beef
1 1⁄4 lbs ground pork
2  slices  bread, made into crumbs
1⁄3 cup oatmeal
4  eggs, beaten
2  teaspoons salt
1  tablespoon prepared mustard
1  cup tomato sauce
1  medium onion, chopped
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
 freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Sauce
4  tablespoons brown sugar
1  cup tomato sauce
1⁄2 cup milk
4  tablespoons prepared mustard
4  tablespoons vinegar

DIRECTIONS
1 Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. For the loaf, mix all the ingredients together, shape, and place in a greased roasting pan. Bake for 1 hour, basting occasionally with the pan juices (I leave this part out).
2 To make the suace, mix all the ingredients together in a small saucepan. Heat briefly and pour over individual slices of the meat loaf.
