Ingredients
- 1 gal. green tomatoes
- 1 gal. cabbage
- 1 gal. bell peppers
- 1 gal. onions
- 1 few cucumbers
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 large cauliflower
- 1 c. salt
- 3 qt. vinegar
- 2 lb sugar
- 1 heaping c. flour
- 5 Tbsp Colman’s mustard
- 4 Tbsp celery seed
- black pepper
- small jar pickled onions
Directions
- 1Pour one cup of salt over first 6 ingredients - cover with water and let stand overnight. The next morning, drain well. Cook cauliflower slightly and seperately in small pieces. Cook sauce until it thickens, then add all ingredients; let come to a boil and cook about 20 min or more. Place in sterilized jars. This is delicious with all meats.
